dc.description.abstract |
The specific goals are to determine optimum contruction and duck feed formulation
to growth of tilapia fish, fresh water giant prawn and duck egg production at tidal
swamp water. The trial was conducted at tidal swamp fish ponds, at Tinggiran Luar
Village, Tamban, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Commodities
in the trial are Alabio ducks at 6 months of age, tilapia fishes scaled 1 - 3 cm of
length, fresh water giant frawn scaled 5 – 6 g/fry. Fish ponds scaled 4 x 3 m2
(12
units) under duck cages scaled 2 x 1 m2
(12 units) were developed for raising layer
alabio ducks and culturing telapia fish and giant frawn. The research results are feed
with some formulation no significantly to different of growth, survival rate and feed
convertion ratio of tilapia and giant fresh water shrimp. Pond construction influence
too, which series in let and out let increase of dissolved oxygen and dicrease of
ammoniac more than in let and out let parallel. So, influence to growth, survival rate
and feed convertion ratio of tilapia and giant fresh water shrimp in integrated
farming. Duck feed with some formulation and commersial feed no significantly
different in egg production.. Analyses of natural feed such as phytoplankton,
zooplankton, and macrozoobenthos show the developed natural feed is meet with
feed habits of tilapia and fresh water giant prawn. |
