Besides road transportation, public transport in Banjarmasin served by river transportation also like kelotok and raft. Along with time, public enthusiasm to use river public transport tends to declines because supporting facilities for this transportation becomes less balmily and lose looks either from side form and also service given. The other side, the increasing of usage of road transportation generates traffic jam problem in streets.
Purpose of this study is to get characteristic influencing satisfaction of passenger to use river transportation. To get big of enthusiast to choose characteristic of river transportation is applied by methodologies Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with relative measurement. In this method measure level of satisfaction / passenger enthusiasm based on technical review like access, form, supporter facility and service review of like tariff, comfort, and service time. Data collecting is done with sample purposive with respondent based on member of household. From this study, consumer of river transportation has perception that operational factor and technical is having the same importance. Operational factor that need to be paid attention is comfort factor (23%) what consisted of existence of safety guarantee, security and safety, and service to good passenger. Technical factor that need to be paid attention is type/design factor of river transportation (24,05%) what facilitates movement accessibility and supports to comfort.
