Description:
Good and fertile land is land that is able to provide nutrients in sufficient and balanced to be absorbed by plants. It can be seen from the value of land productivity, one of them by analyzing the concentration of nutrients contained in the land.
The aim is to find out how big the nutrient content of soil in the area of macro agrisilvikultur and rambutan garden. This information is very important to take steps selanbjutnya in order to maintain the productivity of cultivated land .. Observations were made at 2 different locations namely in the area planted with a combination of plant agrisilvikultur sengon, rambutan and other agricultural crops and gardens rambutan. Soil sampling was done in purposive sampling as much as 3 points of observation on each object of research with a depth of 00-20 cm. The soil samples taken at each subsequent observation point dikompositkan, meaning that one soil sample taken at some point with a distance of 1.0 meter, mixed and stirred evenly, then take as much as 1 kg to be analyzed in the laboratory. Those parameters were observed and the concentration of element N, P, K, Ca and Mg. To find out the status of macro nutrient content of N, P, K, Ca and Mg, the results of the analysis in the laboratory will be compared with Soil Chemical Properties Assessment Criteria according to the Central Institute for Soil Research (LPPT), Bogor.
The results showed the soil macro-nutrient content at the location of observation is relatively not much different. The content of N and P in the soil under agro-forestry and plantation crops are relatively high rambutan. While elements of K; Ca and low Mg and plant species composition did not affect significantly to the content of nutrients in the soil underneath. It is recommended to do additional elements K, Ca and Mg in accordance with the needs of plants, in order to improve soil fertility and optimal production results.
