This study aims to determine the amount of capital needs, operational costs and benefits of different types of fishery processing business conducted at District Takisung fishermen. Survey methods with direct interview techniques used to take 10 samples of data-processing fishing families in each village. Location of research that is deliberately set Takisung district includes Takisung village, Tabanio village, and Kuala Tambangan village. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and investment analysis and short-term cost-benefit approach. Results of study showed that the business processing shrimp paste, dried fish, crackers fish/shrimp, and dried shrimp in a single business cycle, each requires registration capital is IDR 409,212.00 (shrimp paste), IDR 1,683,636.53 (dried fish), IDR 1,383,818.70 (crackers fish/shrimp), and IDR 165,062.50 (dried shrimp). While the necessary operational costs of each business processing per cycle is IDR 190,647.00 (shrimp paste), IDR 1,502,125.42 (dried fish), IDR 1,067,390.13 (crackers fish/ shrimp), and IDR 113,762.50 (dried shrimp). In the capital, each enterprise can gain a profit of IDR 152,228.00 (shrimp paste), IDR 752,874.58 (dried fish), IDR 325,467.01 (crackers fish/shrimp), and IDR 478,738.00 (dried shrimp). R/C ratio is high (1.80 to 5.21 indicates that these efforts is the potential to be developed. To that end, financial assistance (soft loans) to be considered to maintain and expand these efforts is to purchase raw materials and operational costs of the other.
