The Sunday Market of Kertak Hanyar Pal 7 is a traditional market that offers various culinary, fruit, vegetables equipment domestic, and pets as well. The purpose of this research was to collect the name of traded parrot species in the market Sunday Market of Kertak Hanyar Pal 7 and interview the people to conserve those birds. The research was carried out on 29 November - 6 December 2015. The tools used for taking the data in the field were camera, handphone, and clipboard. Method included observing parrot species, matching data to protected bird list and Red List of IUCN as well and interviewing. Data was analyzed qualitatively. There were four parrot species; those were Serindit (Loriculus galgulus), Betet (Psittacula alexandri), Parkit (Meopsittacus undulate), and Lovebird Agafornis fischeri). Based on the Red List of IUCN, 2 species belonged to least concern and 2 species near threatened. According to the PP No. 7/1999, there was no protected parrot species.
