Researc site was in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province. The Study was carried out from May to June 2012. This study aims to 1) determine the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) of Anchovies; 2) determine the optimum resource utilization effort of anchovies 3) determine the level of utilizatiuon of anchovies. Based on Calculation using the model of Schafer, the maximum potential value of MSY anchovies obtained a value of 25384,02 tons/year with anchovies efforts for optimum utilization 40302,8 trip. The anchovies resources still have the opportunity to be increased by the number of remaining potential 22759,32 tons or by 89%. The utilization rate of anchovies in 2011 (the last year) in marine waters Tanah Bumbu regency of 3,09 %, Including low so as to increase the utilization of the fish resources necessary to increase the number of trips or setting fishing unit.
