Description:
The use of biological agents in plant disease control success is determined by type of antagonist, timing and way of application in the field. The research objective was to determine the combination and proper manner antagonist applications to be able to control Rhizoctonia stem rot disease on tidal swamps. The experiment was conducted in February-November 2011 in the type D tidal swamps in Kecamatan Karang indah Barito Kuala District. Test results of the inhibition of combination formulations of antagonists against pathogens ranged from 39.37 to 58.40%. The intensity of the disease in the application of two combination formulations in sterile soil amounted to only 10-16%. Application of the combination formulation antagonist capable of reducing the intensity of the disease in phase taradak, ampak and lacak. In this phase there was no effect of differences phase taradak combination formulation, while the phase ampak and lacak the best on the
combination (P. fluorescens PS-4, 8 + FNP PS-1, 5) and (T.viride + P PS-2.1, P. fluorescens 4.8). The intensity of the lowest in the treatment of disease antagonist application on hay and one month before planting seeds of the application by immersion for 24 hours before planting.
