The diversity research of arrhropoda has been studied in rice field of farmers of the Farmer Field School of Integrated Pest Management (Sekolah Lapangan Pengendalian Hama Terpadu I SLPHT) alumni and non alumni. The research took place in Guntung Payung village Banjarbaru South Kaliman tan. The aim of research is to study the species diversity arthropoda and equality in both the rice fields. Method applied is direct catching of arthropoda at area of rice field done by alumni farmer SLPHT and non alumni using insect net and light trap with catching period is each week during eight weeks at vegetative phase in April - July 2011. Arthropoda identfied and arranged to become herbivore (pest), predator, parasitoid and others. All arthropoda were caught analyzed by determining diversity index value (H’) Shannon-Wiever and equality index value (IS). Result of analysis indicates that value H ‘in rice field done by alumni farmer SLPHT compared to value H ‘in rice field done by farmer non alumni with value each of 2,22 and 1,05 of result catched with insect net and carched with light trap each of 0,75 and 072. Value IS with insect net 0,87 (87%) and with light trap 0.76(76%)
