Abstract:
Research was carried out from April to October 2018 in inland waters of Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province.
The research objective is to estimate the sustainable potential of resources fish climbing perch in inland waters of Banjar
Regency which are used as material in the management of these resources. The approach used is Surplus Production
Model with several analytical methods is Equilibrium Shaefer, Fox, Shcnute, Disequilibrium Shaefer, Walter Hilbron dan
CYP (Clarke Yoshimoto Pooly) which is used to estimate maximum sustainable yield (MSY). The results showed that
the most suitable method for estimating the maximum sustainable yield value was the CYP method analysis with an
MSY value of 10.702 tons/year with optimum effort at 20,099 trips/year. Management of fish resources is correct
regulation of catch quota amount, regulation of number of fishing effort, limitation of mesh size of net or fishing line and
through expansion of fishing area
