Abstract:
This study aims to determine, describe and analyze the role, duties, and functions of the Secretariat of Public
Relations Banjarmasin City Government in the implementation of good governance. The method used mainly in this
study is a qualitative evaluative, with the technique of data collection through interviews and documentation. The
research location is at the Regional Secretariat of Public Relations of Banjarmasin.The results showed that in the
implementation of good governance Public Relations Regional Secretariat Banjarmasin still limited to running role as
a facilitator of communication and communication technicians, it is due to lack of human resources education
background Public Relations, budget constraints given by the leadership.
