Abstract:
This study has three objectives. Firstly, examine and analyze the influence of over
all or partial Degree of Fiscal Decentralization and Private Investment on Economic
Growth regencies/municipalities in South Kalimantan province. Secondly, examine
and analyze the influence of over all or partial Degree of Fiscal Decentralization
and Private Investment on Employment Absorbed regencies/municipalities in
South Kalimantan province. Thirdly, examine and analyze the influence over all or
partial Economic Growth and Employment Absorbed on Public Welfare
regencies/municipalities in South Kalimantan province.
This study uses panel data covering 13 districts / cities in South Kalimantan and the
observation period 2005 - 2016. Data analysis techniques using the TSLS
Simultaneous equation model (Two Stage Least Square)
The results of the study show that economic growth and labor absorbed over all
have affect the comunity welfare and partial economic growth will reduce the
community welfare of districts / cities in South Kalimantan Province, the degree of
fiscal decentralization and private investment over all have influence economic
growth and the degree of fiscal decentralization will partially reduce the economic
growth of districts/cities in South Kalimantan Province, the degree of fiscal
decentralization and private investment over all have influence the number of labor
absorbed and partially the degree of fiscal decentralization will increase the number
of labor absorbed by districts/cities in the province South Kalimantan.
