Abstract:
The study objectives were to identify the cause and type of damage that attacks seedlings sengon, analyzing the intensity of pests and diseases in seed sengon. Objects in this study is derived from the seeds sengon bean seeds (generative) certified seedlings approximately 3 months old. The primary data obtained through field observations by observing every seed sengon sampled. Primary data is then processed based on criteria and standards for crop research results by the standards of the book of the Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP). The results obtained from research on health identification sengon seed that has been implemented is the most dominant cause of the damage is a disease in abiotic factors amounted to 71.55% of the total 225 seeds, the dominant type of damage is discoloration of the leaves are characterized by leaves become yellow amounting to 73.77% of the total 225 seeds, the overall intensity of the attacks amounted to 85.33%, the intensity of pest attacks in the amount of 12.88% and the intensity of the disease at 71. 55%.
