Abstract:
Wetlands, a high level of biodiversity place, have a lot of economic potentials.
Economic potential can be exploited from plants, animals, and wetland
environments. This study aims to examine aspects of the economic value of wetlands
and analyze their potential for learning in elementary schools. This research uses a
qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews
using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) technique. The data collected results
were then analyzed for their suitability with KI and KD in elementary schools. The
research results obtained at least 83 species of plants and animals. Furthermore, the
research results can be used as content in learning in grade 3 elementary school on
theme 2 related to "loving plants and animals”.
