Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the channel of cinnamon trading system, to calculate the costs of trading system on channel cinnamon, to analyze the distribution of marketing margins cinnamon, and to analyze the efficiency of business administration systems of cinnamon. The object of this study is the cinnamon farmers and collectors in Loksado district and also marketing and economic actors involved in the marketing channels of the farmers. The data which have been obtained then are analyzed by the marketing margin, part of farmers profil margin and the mark-up on selling. The result of this study indicate that the marketing channels for cinnamons in Loksado district are 4 pattern: (1) Farmers-Consumer (2) Farmers-Colectors-Traders-Consumers (3) Farmer-Collectors-Big Traders-Consumers (4) Farmer-Collector-Big traders-SmallTraders-Consumer. The overall cinnamon marketing channels in Loksado district is efficient. If it is viewed from the point of view of the farmers then the pattern 1 (Farmers-Consumers) is more efficient because farmers eam more profits, and when it is viewed from the point of view of marketing agencies then pattern2 (Farmers-Gatherer-Traders(Kandangan)-Consumers) is more efficient
