Abstract:
Trans-Kalimantan through Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) is a connecting road between the city of Balikpapan (East Kalimantan) to Banjarmasin and district towns in Central Kalimantan (Puruk Cahu, Muara Teweh, Tamiang Layang, Buntok etc.) to Banjarmasin. This area has a big hand in improving the lives of people around because other than as a connecting path for the local community economy. Unfortunately this track is a marsh area that is prone to subsidence. It is therefore necessary to study the causes of subsidence with idenfying subsurface by analyzing the subsurface resistivity values to determine the subsurface structure based on the value of resistivity of soil / rock constituent. The method used is the Dipole-Dipole configuration geoelectric and measured path length of 100 meters with 2 times the measurement. Based on the results that outline the results obtained on the third track in the form of a contour measurement point at a depth of 0 -10 meters has a value of resistivity 3-15 Ω.m who have tabled the silty loam and silty soil wet mushy; at a depth of 10 -12 meters has a value of resistivity 15-150 Ω.m who have tabled silty and sandy soil; at a depth of 12-13 meters has resistivity values 150-300 Ω.m that have hard bedrock composition filled moist soil, gravel sand silt layer contained; and at a depth of 13-14 meters has resistivity values 300-2400 Ω.m that have bedrock composition filled dry soil
