ABSTRACT
The existence of living things in a habitat is something that can be used as an
object of learning, first objects that become local potential areas that must be
introduced to students, both in the form of objects observed, ways of life, benefits
and even preservation. One of the objects that can be studied is the shrub. The
object of study of the shrub can be loaded as enrichment material in biology
learning material which refers to the appropriate curriculum and syllabus in the
form of learning resources. There are various kinds of learning resources,
including enrichment materials in the form of booklets. Booklet is one of the
innovative forms of enrichment material in the form of printed media. The aim of
this research is the validity of the Research-Based Shrub Diversity Booklet as an

research is a development research using secondary data. The enrichment material
developed is a booklet with the development method referring to Tessmer's
Formative Evaluation. The validity of the booklet was tested by 3 validators: 1st
supervisor, 2nd supervisor, and 1 high school biology subject teacher. The validity
aspects in the booklet are aspects of language validity, aspects of presentation
validity, and aspects of content presentation. The validation results show a score
of 92% with the validation criteria is valid.
