Abstract:
Teaching materials using a generative learning model is not yet implemented in schools, this can lead to low learning outcomes, students become passive and understanding of the concepts to be low. Therefore, research that aims to produce teaching materials that can improve the understanding of the concept of physics to static electricity material by using a generative learning model. In particular, the research aims to describe; (1) the validity of teaching materials, (2) the practicality of teaching materials, (3) the effectiveness of teaching materials. This research refers to the development of teaching materials Dick and Carey model. Data obtained through the validation of teaching materials, practically of RPP, the test result of the learning and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that: (1) The validity of teaching materialsis valid and cat be used with small revisions, (2) Practicality teaching materials in terms of practically of RPP is welldone, (3) The effectiveness of teaching materials developed in terms of cognitive learning outcomesis effective. Be concluded that teaching material for the static electricity material by using generative learning model proper for use
