Abstract
Macromedia flash interactive learning media is used to convey casar (dragonflies) and carum (damselflies) materials, a
biodiversity material for Class X High School, but the validity of this enrichment material has not been tested. This paper
presents the results of the interactive media validation conducted by three material experts and learning media from the
Lambung Mangkurat University and a partner teacher of biology subjects. Validated aspects include display, software
engineering or navigation, curriculum, material presentation, and linguistics. In addition, the readability test results by
three Class XI students who had received biodiversity material are presented. Aspects assessed in the readability test
are the appearance, presentation of material, and the benefits of legibility. The results of the evaluation by the validators
are very valid, while by the partner teacher is valid. The students agree on the use of this alternative learning media, but
need a little revision.
