Description:
As birds that depend on the existence of wetlands, waterbirds function economically and ecologically in human life. Birds are often hunted for consumption or use as pets and their habitats are converted for various purposes. At the same time waterbirds have ecological functions, although not yet known of them in detail. There must be a balance between the economic interests and the ecological importance for the survival of human life and the life of all beings on earth can continue or be maintained at a minimum. Therefore, the use of waterbirds for economic purposes must be balanced with the efforts of waterbird conservation among others through cultivation.
