Description:
Plant pests are risks that must be addressed and taken into account in any attempt to increase crop production. This risk is a consequence of changes in the ecosystem due to the activity of plant cultivation. Crop protection activities continue to expand with the development of science and innovation technology. Therefore innovative technologies for the management of plant pests, especially in tidal swamp land is needed. The main insect pests in the tidal swampland are; the stem borer, brown plant hopper, walang sangit and leaves folding. This paper describes the components of insect pest control to combine with rice cultivation in tidal swampland. The pest should be managed by environmental sanitation, planting simultaneously, using resistant varieties and appropriate cultivation
