The purpose of research is to know fisherman group performance based the function of groups of fishermen as classroom learning, vehicle for cooperation, and production units have been implemented. The research activities conducted in the District of North Bontang, Bontang City in 2016. Data were collected in field surveys and interviews with respondents. The collected data were tabulated and analyzed descriptively and scoring techniques. The results showed that the function of groups of fishermen as classroom learning include planning the need for the 60% who plan to learn the needs of the group, and the regular meeting group activities as much as 66.67%. Group functions as a vehicle for cooperation among fishermen went very well (90%), and cooperation with external parties such as the Department of Marine and Fisheries Bontang (83.33%), and the rest with other parties such as Trader Gatherer, the Company (6.67%) , while the functions groups of fishermen as a unit of production is not running.
