Teak plantations in the humid tropics of South Kalimantan is a new species introduced from Java, developed in the form of community forests. as a form of community forest teak plant development standards that do not have knowledge of the individual farmer who reflect on the productivity of developers. The diversity of ethnic origin of farmers developer is expected to affect the individual knowledge of farmers in developing community forest teak. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between ethnic origin developer community forest teak plantations on the productivity of plants produced. The study was conducted on plant community forest Teak (Tectona grandis Linn. F) at the age of 11 years in the district of Banjar and Tapin Regency South Kalimantan with a completely randomized design.The results showed that the Farmers developer community forests in the humid tropics include ethnic origin of Java, Banjar and Madura. Javanese farmer from wood produces the highest productivity both at high size, diameter and volume on community forest teak in the humid tropics compared to farmers ethnic origin banjar and Madura.
