The tourism sector assists economic growth greatly in Tanah Laut Regency. The place which is often visited by the people are Batakan Beach and Pulau Datu. Batakan Beach is a marine tourism that integrated with the natural scenery of the beach which is located in the Batakan Village, Panyipatan District, Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan. One of the local efforts is the use of local resources which aim to develop tourism with the concept of ecotourism. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Ecotourism Development Strategy of Coastal Wetlands of Batakan Beach in Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan. The method used is collecting primary data by observation, interview and questionnaire. The used analysis is descriptive analysis and SWOT. SWOT analysis defined appropriate strategies for tourism development of Batakan Beach is education which are based on tourism attraction development, improving human resources in the field of eco-tourism, cooperation with stakeholders, and economic empowerment of local communities. |
