The article is a result from the research on education funding from private sector in Tabalong. Decentralization policy has an impact on Education. From the policy, The Government believes that local government has an ability to get sort of funding for the education. In Tabalong where there are several national mining companies, there is expectation that those companies will be an alternative funding support for Education. The support will be carried out through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Community Development (CD) programs. This research aims to describe the role of private sector in supporting Education funding in Tabalong. By using the Qualitative method, the research explains that private sector has significant role to develop education in Tabalong through CSR and CD. |
