UJI TURNITIN KUALITAS KIMIAWI FORMULA MP-ASI BUBUR BAYI INSTAN BERBASIS IKAN GABUS DENGAN UMUR SIMPAN TIGA BULAN

Abstract

Complementary feeding, maternal breast companion (MP-ASI) is given to babies over 6 months because breast milk is insufficient to increased infants energy needs. The compositions of baby porridge will produced an instant and highly acceptable product. The shelf life of instant baby porridge was deteminated. It is very important requirement before food products are marketed and consumed. The aim of this research was to know the chemical quality MP-ASI instant baby porridge formulated with snakehead fish in three months shelf life. Preparation of instant baby porridge using dry mixing method, all materials have been processed by dried then mixed according to variation of MP-ASI formulation. The results showed that the best formula of instant baby porridge chemical quality in three months storage time was a formula with 20% snakehead fish substitution and 15% yellow pumpkin flour. The formula has protein content (18.57%), water (11.47%), fat (8,63%), ash (2.26%) dan carbohydrat (59.26%).
