Peatland fire of Kayu Tangi-Forest Management Area increased of hotspot every year during the dry
season 76% in 2017-2019, this is evidence of the low management and involvement of stakeholders
who are not collaborative and sustainable, both in terms of the early warning system peatland fires
and institutional strengthening so that communities are responsive to peatland fires. The methods of
this research used quantitative approach and the performance of application system utilization was
evaluated using an analysis of public perceptions using a Likert scale analysis obtained from the
results of randomly distributing questionnaires to 153 respondents.The result of this research
concluded that the frontend of Siaga Karhutla application was effective in providing quick information
from community report to the government, it was easy to use respondents with an average attitude
statement of "strongly agree" (55.88%), "agree" (42.32%), "less agree" (1.31%), “disagree” (0.16%)
and “strongly disagree” (0.33%) or in general, the people of Kalimantan Selatan gave a positive
response of 98.20% (agree-strongly agree). Furthermore, on the backend application which that can
be easily run by the organizing agency in providing services for forest and land fires, it shows that on
average the respondents statement of “agree” (37.09%), “strongly agree” (60.70%), “less agree”
(1.23%), "disagree" (0.57%) and "strongly disagree" (0.41%) or on average show a positive response
of 97.79% (agree and strogly agree). |
