dc.description.abstract Augmented reality can be interpreted as a connection between conventional educational instruments and digital innovations that have a positive effect on user efficiency. The research has two main objectives, to determine the effect of Augmented Reality and examine the student's voice toward AR in extensive reading. This study was conducted in a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The instruments administered in this research were reading tests and interviews. There are positive impacts and significant changes from the usage of augmented reality, which increases in the post-test results of students. Concerning the interview result of the exploration, AR innovation has specific favorable circumstances, as indicated by the students. Future research should look into how to best design AR experiences for the extensive reading course in higher education for readers. en_US
