dc.description.abstract This article explores whether (and how) the reporting practices of South Kalimantan Province have changed depending on the accountability framework dominating the Central Indonesian Government from 1945 to 2009. The periods of changing accountability framework explored are the Soekarno (Old Order); Soeharto (New Order); Habibie, Wahid, Soekarnoputri and Yudhoyono (Reform Era). This article uses an interpretive (social constructionist) methodology. A case study method (including historical records and interviews, as well as direct observation, where available) is used to interpret provincial reporting behaviour from the Soekarno Regime through to 2009 (Reform Era Regimes) when a series of interviews took place. en_US
