PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK DAUN DAN INTERVAL WAKTU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN RAMIN (Gonystulus bancanus (MIQ.) KURZ

Abstract

Ramin is a species that has superior qualities because of a fancy physical appearance, lightweight, and fine texture. This wood produces diverse typesof products such as processed wood, semi-finished, and also finished products such as furniture and others. Cultivation knowledge about how to accelerate the growth of this species is necessary to prevent the extinction of the species because of the superior qualities. Thus, the aim of this research is to measure to the effect of foliar feeding on Ramin (Gonystulusbanacus (Miq.) Kurz). and analyzing the best treatment for the Ramin seeds growth. The research is using complete random design through 3 treatments (with fertilizer, foliar feeding 3gr/liter every two days, foliar feeding 3 gr/ every day) and 10 repeating and advancedtests. Growth monitoring consist of height increasement, diameter growth, and growth success.The result shows that the young plants grow well until the end of research. The analyze result shows foliar feeding with 3gr/liter with different times feeding give very significant effect to growth and diameter increment. The T-Test shows that dosage feeding with time interval every day during the research is causing relatively higher growth value
