The quantity of the river water is the ability of the river to flow water for irrigation infrastructure activities such as river management, reservoirs, and lakes. Water quality generally indicates the quality or condition of water associated with a particular activity or necessity. The measurement of water discharge was done by using two methods: a method using Current Meter by measuring the water surface height with Piscal, and a method of using a float. Data collected were primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected by measuring the height of water surface, the speed of water flow, and water discharge. Secondary data were collected from related institutions and then they were analyzed. This research was conducted in the watershed of Satui for 3 months, from May to July 2017. Based on the results it was obtained that in the upper part of the watershed the average discharge was 1.28 m3/second with the Flow Regime Coefficient was 2.198 and Annual Flow Coefficient was 0.3, and Sediment was 2,198 tons/year. At the middle part of the Satui watershed, the average discharge was 2.96 m3/second, the Flow Regime Coefficient was 7.520, Annual Flow Coefficient was 0.13, and Sediment was 2.117 tons/year. At the bottom part of the watershed, average discharge was 23.22 m3/second, the Flow Regime Coefficient was 5.105, the Annual Flow Coefficient was 0.8, and Sediment was 11.09 tons/year |
