AbstractThepurposeofthisresearchistoknowtheheatdistributionsysteminthreetypesoffishdryers.Thevariationsofthedryerroomwerefire-tubetype,fire-tubetypewithbevel,andair-tubetype.ThisstudywasconductedbysimulatingairflowandheattransferthatoccurredineachdryerroomvariationbyusingCFDsoftware.Inthesimulation,thedryerwasheatedusinganelectricheatingelementwithatemperatureof80°Candtheresultsdisplayhotairflowmovinginthedryingchamber.Inthefire-tubetypedryerroomobtainedaveragetemperatureof46.74OC.Inthefire-tubetypedryerroomwiththebevelobtainedanaveragetemperatureof44.40OC.Whilethetypeofair-tubeshowsaveragetemperatureresultsof34.31OC.Fromthesimulation,weknownthatthefire-tubetypehasthebestheatdistributionsystem. |
