Abstract

Birds (Aves) is one of the marvelous creatures that inspires and gives pleasure to the people because of its sound and feathers. To know the diversity of birds in protected forest areas Liang aggang and dukuh of West Mandiangin Village then conducted research with aim of to collect birds in the dukuh forest of protected forest area and compare the birds species in the dukuh protected forest area. Research has been done in Liang aggang and dukuh of West Mandiangin Village this research using explorer method birds directly observed, identified by sound, and matched with birds, so that the number of birds with habitat type paramaeters,time (minutes of countered) and species name of the number of inviduals encounter. The results show that the diversity of birds spesies in each habitat has number of different bird species props dependent on feed, shelter, and breeding.
