Species Composition, Stand Structure and Plant Diversity of Of Several
Spescies Of Dukuh in West Mandiangin Village, Sub-District Of Karang Intan, District of
Banjar. The goal of this study are identification of species composition, stand structure,
and plant diversity of Dukuh. Data collecting made by nested sampling. Each selected
sample of stand of Dukuh will be measured by made 4 (four) plots of size (20 × 20 m²) or
equivalent to 40 × 20 m² or 0.16 ha. Species composition analyzed by tabulation matrix.
Diversity index determined by Shanon-Wiener Index (H’). Stand structure indicated by
important value index
There are 46 plant species that founded in the stand of dukuh (14 species of ground
cover, 17 species of seedlings, 19 species of saplings, 21 species of poles and 18
species of trees. Tapus (Elingera sp) is a plant that dominated at ground cover level with
important value index at 62,695 %. Karet (Hevea brasiliensis) is a plant that dominated
at seedlings level with important value index at 35,209 %. Durian (Durio zibethinus) and
langsat (Lansium domesticum) are plants that dominated at sapling level with important
value index at 47,260 %, 45,254, respectively. Durian (Durio zibethinus) and langsat
(Lansium domesticum) are plants that dominated at sapling level with important value
index at 75,508 % and 66,876 %, respectivelly. Durian (Durio zibethinus), langsat
(Lansium domesticum), karet (Hevea brasiliensis), cempedak (Arthocarpus champeden),
rambutan (Nephelium mutabile), ramania (Bouea macrophylla), manggis (Garcinia
mangostana) domaninate at trees level with important value index at 161,785%,
151,110 %, 134,276 %, 125,388 %, 122,555 %, 111,645 %, and 105,103%, respectivelly.
The values of the plant diversity index (H) for lower plants, seedlings, piles, poles and
trees were 1.987, 2.445, 2.254, 2.413, 2.300. There are several plant species that
specific characterized in the stand of Dukuh. |
