dc.description.abstract There are many educational problems of students that can cause pressure and stress. Hardiness is the one of the solution to reduce or prevent the effects of stress on physical and psychological conditions. Hardiness can develop well one of them with fathers’s involvement in parenting. This study aims to understand and determine the relationship between perceptions of father involvement in parenting and hardiness in students of SMPN 1 Banjarbaru. The sampling technique in this research is using total sampling, in which all students of SMPN 1 Banjarbaru grade 9 with a total of 319 students will be used as research subjects. The research analysis method used is the product moment correlation by Karl Person, the data collection uses a perception scale of father's involvement in parenting and a hardiness scale. The results of the study show that the relationship between fathers' perceptions of parenting patterns and the hardiness of students at SMPN 1 Banjarbaru has a correlation of 0.228 and a significance level of 0.000. The results of data analysis showed that there was a positive relationship with a low level of significance between perceptions of father involvement in parenting and hardiness Keywords: Perception of Father’s Involvement in Parenting, Hardiness, Students. en_US
