Kajian Kegagalan Kebuntingan Sapi Induk Brahman Cross Melalui Analisis Tatalaksana Reproduksi dan Profil Hormon Progesteron dengan Penerapan Teknologi Radioimmunoassay (RIA).

Abstract

Repeating breading have been identified as a low cause of efficiency of reproducing of the cow of Brahman Cross. This research aims to identify the causes of the pregnant failure after IB as seen from the reproduction management aspect Radioimmuoassay (RIA) are used to diagnose the disparity of reproduction of the cow mother. This research used 14 cows mother Brahman Cross identificated the failure of pregnant of after IB used for more than twice (S/C> 2), however, the pregnancy has not occurred yet, 4 cows come from P2DTP2T of the Faculty of Agriculture Unlam and 10 cows from the farmer group of Maju Bersama, Desa Ujung Batu Kecamatan Pelaihari, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. The observation has also taken congregation cement judgment, interview with the farmer and the inseminator of IB and also the analysis of hormone progesterone by the application of RIA technology. The cause of pregnant failure of the cows mother of Brahman the caring from the farmer, evaluated from the reproduction management aspect is mostly by seed used has a failure reproduction with ovary which not have cycle.
