Kandungan Mineral (Na. Se, Co, Fe) Pakan Alami Ternak Kerbau Rawa di Kalimantan Selatan

Abstract

This Research aims to know the content of mineral Na, Se, Co, and Fe of the natural feed of the swamp buffalo which then to be the consideration to develop the natural potency feed of the swamp buffalo therefore the productivity and the reproductivity of the swamp buffalo can be improved. It is a descriptive research which draws the content of mineral Na, Se, Co, and Fe of the natural feed of the swamp buffalo. The research sample is taken from Bararawa of Danau Panggang districts of Hulu Sungai Utara regency of South Kalimantan provinces. The result on the research indicates that the content of mineral Na. Se, Co, and Fe of the natural feed of The swamp buffalo is very low compared to the grass good quality and the mineral standard of pasture for the ruminansia, so that the feed supplement requires to improving the productivity and the reproductivity of the swamp buffalo. The very low of the content of mineral of the natural feed of the swamp buffalo could be caused of the plant which cannot permeate the mineral maximally, in addition to the natural feeds growing in experienced circumstance in water and unstable marshland which always experience of the movement of effect of current irrigate the bog. This research slill needs the more circurmstantial study support about the analysis of the mineral content of water and place marshland which grow, the natural feed of the swamp buffalo and analyze the blood, urin or saliva of the swamp buffalo to know the its mineral status.
