dc.description.abstract |
Objectives of this research are to know the use abundance of Achatina sp as protein source at Alabio duck by bio process technology, and optimizing use TBT (achatina meal fermentation) in ration of Alabio layer duck . This research consist of three steps, step I want to identiy bacteria and parasite in achatina exudate, step II consist of three step there are 1) detoxification of toxin achatina, 2) Bio process achatina by fementation process and 3) Nutrition analyze product fermentation of achatina, and step Ill using feeding trial TBT in Alabio duct rations and using description using completely randomized design (RAL) 4 treatments and 4 replicateds, followed by DMRT test. The treatment step Ill consist of: RO = control (without TBT in rations); Rl = level 7.5% TBT in rations; R2 = 15 % TBT in rations dan R3 = 22.5% TBT in rations. Result of this research showed in Step I identification of bacteria in achatina exudate found two bacteria not pathogen in achatina exudate, there are Citrobacter sp and Chryseobhacterium sp, but pathogen bacteria as salmonella not found. Result in Step II showed detoxification process was sucess to decreased toxin and made the TBT product was safe. Bio process technologi by fermentation of product can increasing quality of nutrition, mainly protein was about 35.55-38.0% from 30.56% before fermentation. And the best time of fermentation storage was about four day to increased the higher nutrition of achatina meal. Result in Step Ill showed the treatment was significant (p<0.01) increasing nitrogen digestible (Ret-N) of ration. The best Ret-N produce by R3 treatment with 22.5% TBT in rations was about 3.0113 ± 0.08 (g N/duck/day), but not significant to metabolizable energy (ME) digestibility. The treatment showed that level of 22.5% TBT in rations can repaired percentage of egg production until 72.99a ± 5.58% from 64.96a ± 4.24 % (kontrol). |
