The importance of Islamic religious education in schools is to foster and nurture students so
that they can always understand the teachings of Islam as a whole. Islamic religious
education is part of one of the existing curricula in schools that participates in instilling
morals, especially for the moral cultivation of students in complying with the rules in school.
This study uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis (mixed method) which is
used to describe the research results. Data collection in this study was obtained through
surveys, interviews, documentation and questionnaires to students, educators (teachers) and
school principals at SMAN 1 Gambut and SMAN 1 Martapura, Banjar district, South
Kalimantan province. The results of this study are that on average the students in the school
do not feel burdened by the existence of school regulations. The existence of rules actually
makes them controlled not to commit violations. When there are students who violate school
rules, all teachers actively reprimand students who violate these rules, for example because
of clothes that don't match the rules, arriving late, and other things. Teachers will cooperate
well to discipline and advise students who do not comply with school rules.
