PENGUATAN NILAI NASIONALISME DALAM SEJARAH PERJUANGAN ALRI DIVISI IV KALIMANTAN SELATAN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR IPS

Abstract

The writing of this article is to review the history of the struggle of the ALRI Division IV South Kalimantan which contains the values of nationalism that can be used as a source of social studies learning. This study uses a historical approach with a focus on the local history of South Kalimantan and uses a qualitative approach, the stages of data analysis; 1) reduction of data that is not in accordance with the research focus, 2) presentation of data in descriptive form, and 3) drawing conclusions based on research findings so as to describe research results systematically. The data were obtained from field research, interviews, and literature studies, and other documents. ALRI Division IV Kalimantan which was formed by the provincial government of Kalimantan by P. M. Noor fought against the Dutch and NICA during the struggle for independence which was divided into 3 phases, namely the initial phase, namely the formation, the second phase, namely resistance and tactics against the Dutch and the third phase, namely the proclamation. May 17, 1949, Furthermore, from the local history of the struggle of the ALRI Division IV Kalimantan, there are values of nationalism such as love for the homeland, being willing to sacrifice, and appreciate the services of the heroes, which are also able to be integrated into social studies teaching materials for class IX in the material for the Indonesian Independence Period 1945- 1950 on the sub-material Struggle to Defend the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
