Membangun Desa Tangguh Bencana Melalui Pembentukan Komunitas Masyarakat Sadar Bencana (KMSB)

Abstract

Disasters are natural events that often occur in Indonesia, especially in South Kalimantan. This service is carried out as an effort to build awareness and provide education to the public on the importance of caring for natural disasters and their impact on the community through the formation of the Disaster Awareness Community/Komunitas Masyarakat Sadar Bencana (KMSB). The method used in this service is in the form of socializing village regulations related to Disaster Resilient Village/Desa Tangguh Bencana (Destana), Assistance in the formation of the Disaster Awareness Community (KMSB), as well as disaster planning training in the form of making disaster evacuation routes in Sungai Raya, Simpang Empat District, Regency Banjar, South Kalimantan Province. The implementation of this activity is very important for the community considering the condition of the area in South Kalimantan is an area which is very prone to disasters.
