dc.description.abstract Abstract. Green grass jelly is a medicinal plant that is rich in nutrients and minerals so that the demand for green grass jelly is increasing. However, the current production of green grass jelly has not been able to meet this demand. Therefore it is necessary to provide additional hormones in the nursery process, one of which is Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of immersion of PGPR bamboo roots, rice roots, and Chinese water chestnut roots on the growth of green grass cuttings and to determine the best PGPR material for growing green grass jelly cuttings. This research was conducted from August 2020 to October 2020. Located in the North Loktabat Plantation and the Integrated Laboratory of the Agroecotechnology Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru. The research method used was a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments, namely P0 (control), P1 (Rootone F), P2 (PGPR Bamboo Root), P3 (PGPR Root Rice), P4 (PGPR Chinese water chestnut roots) which repeated four times until 20 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that immersion of green grass jelly cuttings into PGPR bamboo roots, rice roots, Chinese water chestnut roots was able to increase the growth of green grass jelly cuttings. The best treatment for the growth of green grass jelly cuttings was P4 (PGPR Chinese water chestnut roots) with an average number of shoots 1.2, an average number of leaves of 3.2, and an average width of leaves 1 cm.
