The Meratus Mountains Geopark has 36 geosites, which are located in 9 regencies and 1 city.
This study aims to explore the demand of tourists who support the development of the
Meratus Mountains eco-geotourism geopark area. The method used in this study is a
qualitative method with an exploratory type, data collected through interviews, observation
and documentation, analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of the study
consisting of tourists, as well as documentation and observation. The results of the study
describe the wishes of tourists, among others: complementing existing natural attractions with
cultural and artificial tourist attractions, renewing means of transportation to the Meratus
mountain geopark area, adding to the transportation fleet and arranging transportation
schedules/time management, building and equipping restaurants, cafes, houses, Eating and
gazebo, tourist information in every tourist spot, forming a tourism awareness group
