This study aims to determine the effect of invigorating local upland rice seeds of Buyung variety
using organic priming solution of tomato fruit at various concentrations. This research was conducted at
the Production Laboratory of the Agroecotechnology Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung
Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru for 1 month from 1-30 December 2020. This study used a 5-level
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 replications, consists 4 sub-samples in each experimental
unit. The observation parameters consisted of growth potential, germination rate, growth speed,
synchronous growth, root length, and plumule length. Invigoration treatment using organic priming
solution of tomato fruit had a effect on root length but did not significantly affect the parameters of growth
potential, germination, growth speed, synchronous growth, and plumule length. The best effect on rooth
length was shown by the concentration of 15% organic priming solution of tomatoes.
