Agroforestry were developed in line with the society’s local wisdom, so that the structure and the established component were various. Agroforestry classifications based on many aspects depend on perspective and its necessity. One aspect which agroforestry classification based on was the complexity of agroforestry than monoculture in agriculture and/or in forestry. This classification was a first step to help agroforest
implementation analysis in order to optimize its functions and benefits. Hence, global climate change was occurred because of the energy imbalance between earth and atmosphere, it might impact to biodiversity. This observation were aimed to evaluate compounding components and complexity of agroforest practice in mixed garden at Desa Sungai Alang; also determined the Basalt Area Width. This observation conducted some observation plots in one area; then, noted species which grown or live there as agroforest components, their functions, ages, basal area width and crown width of trees. There were found 9 species of woody components, 4 species of perennial components; and 1 species of animal which was goat. The largest basalt area was Cempedak (Artocarpus integer) valued 4237,71 cm2, which amounts 22 stands from all observation plot. According to the components that built up system, we concluded that an agrosilvopastoral was applied in this mixed garden. |
