Increasing production based on a good analysis is absolutely necessary for a company that wish to increase revenue while at

The development of production facilities is focused on the substructure firstly to ensure the reliability of the building that will
stand on it. The method of construction is carried out by erecting the foundation onshore and offshore by a specialist
contractor which appointed by the employer. The issues of safety risks that will arise became the main attention of employers
and the contractor.
The study aims to find out how much the safety risk of a factory construction project which includes of foundation at
production facilities and factories which is carried out onshore and offshore by one of the specialist contractors in Indonesia.
The risk management method starts with the identification, analysis, response and review of risks. Identification is carried out
by documentation reviews and checklist analysis techniques on similar projects in the past on risk variables affecting the
safety aspects that is carried out between employers and the contractor.
The results of the analysis show that the potential danger variable of falling/slipping/rolling both tools/workers on the piling
work at sea is the highest risk of danger followed by falling into the sea on finishing work as the next biggest potential hazard
in a factory construction project in South Kalimantan.
The mitigation efforts which is carried out are adjusted to the potential hazard variables, including paying serious attention to
the cleanliness aspects of the project site as well as strict supervision the use of PPE by the personnel. |
