dc.description Penyakit layu bakteri yang disebabkan oleh Ralstonia solanacearum adalah penyakit yang sangat berbahaya menyerang tanaman tomat di Banjarbaru. Penyakit ini sudah menyebar pada beberapa tanaman tomat yang terdapat di Landasan Ulin Banjarbaru. Pengendalian belum banyak yang bisa dilakukan, dikarenakan penyebaran yang sangat cepat melalui bibit atau tanah yang sudah terinfeksi. en_US
dc.description.abstract Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum) be a real popular vegetable crop, can be planted in upland and lowland either as lawn crop and also purpose of commercial. Besides eaten by fresh, tomato can be made furthermore as component of industrial standard of food. Tomato crop conducting always faces constraint for example bacterial wilt disease attack. This pathogen is limiting factor most importantly for produce of tomato crop. Bacterial wilt disease is dangerous disease in tropic and subtropic because this bacterial has many host. In Landasan Ulin Utara Banjarbaru is reported by the year 2004 there is with a width of 5 ha tomato crop, 2005 there is 2 ha, and 2006 there are 10 ha, bacterial wilt disease attack is more 50% and even something cannot harvest (100%). This aim research to characterization cause of bacterial wilt disease, research method applied is ill sampling and area Landasan Ulin Banjarbaru. Then isolated to get isolate cause and done examination standard; of gram, biochemical and physiology. Result of research shows bacterial isolate got and tomato crop to come down with wilting is bacterial Ralstonia solanacearum. Ezamination of wilt bacterial isolate gram indicates that bacterial tested haves the character of negativity gram, sour forming and bacterial isolate catalase test wilt shows positive and at test oxidative-fermentative bacterial have the character of oxidizes, but at examination of forming of fluorescence, forming test of extract and forming test of bacterial isolate gelatin tested shows reaction of negativity. en_US
