dc.description.abstract Early marriage in Indonesia suffered a downward rise phase in each province, previously the highest order was the province of West Java and then a few years after the highest order was the province of South Kalimantan. Research method used a qualitative approach with a variant of phenomenology. Data collection techniques used a thick description while data analysis a used interactive model with four grooves that is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion continuously until saturated. Conclusion shows several factors of early marriage in Indonesia, namely the change of government system, village governance apparatus, majority religion, culture of rural communities, and social status of rural communities. en_US
