dc.description.abstract	Abstract. Barito river bank at Simpang Arja Village is an area that anxious of erosion. The existence of stands on the Barito river bank has an important role to prevent erosion. Aim of research was to analyze the abundance of stands along the Barito river bank at Simpang Arja Village Rantau Badauh District Barito Kuala Regency. The method was survey with sampling plots measuring (10 x 10) meters along 1.500 meters in 3 zones of observation. Number of sample points are 10 points each zone. Data were analyzed using exploratory and statistic with relevant literature. The highest abundance on the river bank was Citrus sinensis Osb. with important value indekx (IVI) 56,55% and the lowest abundance was Spondias dulcis Forst. with IVI 0,11 %. Diversity of stands in the research area was enough with index of diversity 2,29.	en_US
