dc.description.abstract Abstract. Flora in South Kalimantan is very diverse, one of which is the bamboo. Bamboo in Loksado used for a variety of everyday purposes. Along with the increased utilization of bamboo, bamboo logging also increases so that if it is done irregularly feared would lead to a decrease in the diversity of bamboo in the future. This research purpose to describe the diversity of bamboo in the waterfall area Rampah Menjangan Loksado along the river side Uyit. This type of research is a descriptive study using observation method of observing directly in the field to collect data. The results showed that bamboo found in that area there are seven types Bambusa vulgaris, Dendrocalamus asper, Gigantochloa apus, Gigantochloa apus, Schizostachyum blumei, Schizostachyum brachyladum dan Schizostachyum zollingeri. Abundance of bamboo highest average in area streams is Gigantochloa apus with NP 83.45% while the type of bamboo that has the lowest is Dendrocalamus asper with NP 11.16% and H '1.76. The average level of diversity of bamboo around the river included in the medium category. en_US
