dc.description The organization of water resources management faces many complex problems as long as the high increment of population align with the fast development of social and economic. On one side the increase of population will followed by the increase of water resources for daily basis and on the other side will caused the exploitation of water resources support. The water need will increase as long as the increase of population, improvement of living standards and economic growth. The high value of population growth will followed by the city water need, so that the study of city water quality will be needed at the cities of South Kalimantan Province. The water turbidity on the intake of PDAM at rain season is higher than dry season. On the dry and rainy season, the water quality after water treatment at PDAM is better than water sample from the intake tested on turbidity and salinity components.Keyword: water quality, intake of PDAM, South Kalimantan Province
